Warren May joined the Dupuis Langen Financial Management team as a Certified Financial Planner in September 2009. Since then, he has shown both the technical knowledge and the compassion essential to financial planning.
Born and raised in Richmond, Warren took Economic and Business at SFU & Kwantlen before spending several years as a high-performance hockey coach. While coaching, he won the 2003 PIJHL and Provincial Championships with the Richmond Sockeyes and a Bronze Medal at the 2005 B.C. Winter Games. Of the players he coached, six have been drafted (including the third overall pick in 2007) and four have played in the NHL.
In 2005, Warren left hockey to pursue his other passion: financial planning. In addition to the valuable experience he has gained since then, he has proven his advanced understanding of financial issues by scoring 94% in the Canadian Investment Funds Course, graduating "With Distinction" from BCIT's Associate Certificate in Financial Planning in Canada, scoring over 80% in the Life License Qualification Program, and most recently by placing first in B.C. and second in Canada on the Certified Financial Planner exam.
Warren specializes in solving the financial challenges of lawyers and families. |
